National Credit Card Bank Portfolio Analysis
| |
Problem:
| |
This Credit Card client underwent sweeping personnel changes in
their marketing department. The new group's first objective was to segment and identify winners and losers within their customer base. After six months of utilizing one of the "leading" database vendors with little success, the client turned to TEF.
| |
Solution:
| |
TEF conducted two days of intense meetings at the client's location. Interviews occurred with key employees in Accounting, Marketing, Operations and Systems. Twelve months of customer masterfile data were shipped overnight to TEF.
| |
Two weeks later, high level reports were produced that successfully tied to the client's General Ledger. After four weeks, a robust group of portfolio reports was generated on the full twelve months of masterfile data, including a complete and accurate segmentation of the file and a customized Profit and Loss analysis.

| |
Result:
| |
TEF's analysis enabled this bank to better understand and communicate with their customers, improving both client relationships and portfolio profitability. TEF continues to be their main resource for production of activation/retention files and for masterfile maintenance such as repricing and product changes.
