National Credit Card Bank Interim Portfolio Servicing
	Problem:
	One of the top three credit card banks in the world was implementing an aggressive portfolio acquisition plan. This bank was purchasing multiple new credit card portfolios each month.
	Conversion of this newly acquired customer data to the client's internal systems typically required six to twelve months. The client needed to implement frequency marketing programs to stimulate cardholder usage and profits and prevent attrition during that interim period.
	With each new portfolio came new data formats and anomalies unique to the bank being purchased. There was no available internal client resource to support these programs.

	Solution:
	TEF possesses the knowledge, discipline and experience required to support these ongoing programs. TEF loads these new files, cleanses the data, performs file segmentation, package assignment and produces final lettershop files for all interim portfolios. Detailed audit reporting is provided by TEF at all phases of the project. Additionally, all batch updates to the credit card transaction processors are TEF-produced.
	Typically, these programs are completed within one to two weeks of TEF's initial receipt of client specifications and a new portfolio customer file (including mapping of required fields). This enables the bank to create their desired frequency of client touches during the interim period.
	Due to anomalies in the newly acquired portfolio, specifications for the project frequently change after review of audit reports at each phase of processing. TEF responds quickly to these changes, modifying and in many cases, re-running entire programs meet the client's deadlines.

	TEF is a value-added partner to this bank. The client entrusts TEF with their most sensitive data and relies on TEF's ability to translate new data from multiple sources quickly and accurately. TEF acts as the central data repository for the client's interim portfolios. All programs are completed under budget and meet the client's tight timelines.
