The Electron Factory's (TEF) initial client was First Omni Bank (FOB), whose goal in 1995 was to grow their credit card portfolio to become a "top twenty" credit card bank. This was an ambitious undertaking, considering they were understaffed in both the marketing and information systems areas.

We made it possible for FOB to enter into cobranding partnerships with Crown Oil and Bell Atlantic. FOB benefited from TEF's full menu of data processing services, enabling FOB to achieve outstanding results for their clients that by far exceeded the requirements of their cobrand agreements. TEF's support helped in FOB's ascension to the top tier of the credit card industry.
